Originally from Kansas, Briceida has been calling Indiana home since 2013.
By the third grade, Briceida knew she wanted to be an attorney. She was inspired by her favorite show which centered around a law school student. The protagonist's ability to leave a lasting positive impact on his clients motivated Briceida to seek a similar path. Briceida received a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice.
During her last year of law school she represented indigent defendants in the school's Criminal Law Clinic. Before joining the team at the Office of Karina Zazueta, Briceida worked at the Marion County Public Defender Agency representing clients in everything from driving offenses to felonies.
Everyone deserves competent representation in a criminal matter. Briceida uses her years of trial experience as a defense attorney to help you through what can be a stressful time.
When she is not in the court room or meeting with clients, Briceida enjoys watching football and basketball while hanging out with her fiance and their poodle, Mozzie.
During college, she interned at law enforcement agencies and prosecutor's offices, as well as worked at a criminal defense firm. Even before law school, she knew criminal law was her passion.
While in attending Valparaiso University Law, Briceida was a member of various organizations including the Trial Advocacy Team where she also served on the Executive Board.
